Shipping Delay Due to Austin Ice and Snow Storm!
ALL ORDERS WILL GO OUT ON MONDAY, FEB. 22!
I wanted to give everyone an update on shipping for all orders since Feb. 10. We are located just outside of Austin, Texas--so you probably know from the news the conditions that Texas has been experiencing the past 10 days.
Here in Austin, we've had five winter storms back to back--including a half inch of ice, followed by eight inches of snow then capped by another half inch of ice.
It may not sound like much...but from 2000-2020, Austin had a grand total of just over four inches of snow! Needless to say, life has come to a standstill here.
We've been iced in since the first storm. Our power was out for close to two days in all, and we were one of the lucky ones. We've been without water for over a week. Postal deliveries stopped, and roads closed.
Yesterday, a kind neighbor towed my car out of our icy drive so now I'll be able to go to the post office on Monday, and we can get back to our regular shipping schedule.
