Meet SALVADOR
June 19, 2020 Update on Salvador:
We've been sponsoring Salvador for close to a year now...and he is STILL up for adoption! Salvador is now just over two years old. He's in the care of the Animal Defense League of Texas; after a long stay at the shelter, he is now enjoying foster care but is still looking for a forever family!
Here's what the Animal Defense League says about Salvador:
Take a good look at these blue eyes, you'll fall in love with me right away! I am a very handsome boy who loves to go out on walks, I'm pretty good on the leash. I would love it if you came down to spend time with me so we can get to know each other very well and hopefully you'll give me my forever home.
Salvador is a deaf dog so he'll be perfect for learning sign language from his new family! He's grown up since he first arrived at the shelter, and now weighs in at 60 pounds--perfect for a hiking buddy.

The Animal Defense League had a record adoption period so we had a bit of a hard time finding a new pet to sponsor--which is a great problem to have!! We found a new sweetie to sponsor, though...meet SALVADOR:
Salvador is a one-year-old boy who's looking for a forever home. We'll keep you posted as we get more details on this young pup but here's what Salvador would like you to know:

I have been watching you support Salvador for such a long time 😢
How has he not been adopted? I have an adopted Rottie/lab/Sheppard mix, 62lbs, loves boy dogs. We live in the Methow Valley of Washington.
I see you are looking in San Antonio.. would you not let someone else adopt him? Is he too special care?
