Stop Yulin Forever March Aims to End Yulin Dog Meat Festival

A distance of 7,386 miles separates the city of Los Angeles from Yulin, China.  However, on World Animal Day a message of mercy will bridge the gap as animal lovers join A-list reality star Lisa Vanderpump on a march to the Chinese consulate in L.A. in an effort to create a new reality for dogs in danger of losing their lives during the Yulin Dog Meat Festival.

A proud pet parent to seven canine companions (including high-profile pup Giggy the Pomeranian), the star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules has been haunted by the horrifying images of the more than 10,000 dogs (many of them stolen family pets) who are tortured and who die an excruciating death during an annual 10-day summer solstice 'celebration'  which is thought to bring good fortune.

Turning her anguish over the situation into positive action, on October 4th Vanderpump will use her star wattage to shine a spotlight on the subject during  Stop Yulin Forever's peaceful rally which will begin at MacArthur Park Recreation Center in Los Angeles and will lead a canine-loving crowd to the Chinese Consulate in the hope of putting an end to the nightmare.

Lisa Vanderpump, restaurateur (and Lisa Vanderpump's husband) Ken Todd and The Talk co-host Sharon Osbourne have stepped in front of the camera to ask animal lovers to take steps toward stopping the Yulin Dog Meat Festival by taking part in the upcoming rally:
